Registrants need to pay and register for the training through the Academy and organise their own accomodation, Batemans Bay nearest or you can camp at the venue and food.

The BMWMCCACT offers incentives to financial members that complete advanced rider training subject to T&Cs, see Member Rider & First Aid Training.

The Academy of Off Road Riding is located at Buckenbowra up-river from Nelligen on the south coast NSW.

The Ride Coordinator has signed up to the Academy's Adventure Bike course on 20-22 August 2021.  This course is specifically targeted at adventure bikes like BMW F850GS/A, R1250GS/A with touring luggage (but not required for the course).  Although any member and any brand motorcycle are invited to register.

The course cost is $420 per person on a BYO tent camping and food.  There is free camping on site with toilet and hot shower.  Check the Academy website for more information

It is recommended that registrants have personal medical insurance or a minimum emergency ambulance cover.  The BMWMCC is not liable for any registrant injury or loss riding to/from or participating in this course.

I will be making my way to the Buckenbowra training site Friday afternoon in readiness for the Saturday morning 0800 briefing (miss the briefing, miss the course).  Your registration is for interest in a group ride to/from the venue only.

Please email the ride coordinator if you have any questions and include 'Adventure Bike Course' in the subject line.
