About the Club
The BMW Motorcycle Club Canberra (2021) [BMW Motorcycle Club ACT (2005), ACT BMW Motorcycle Club (1981)] has a mix of social events as well as short, day, overnight and multi-day rides that cater for beginner to experienced TS (road) and GS (gravel / dirt) rider and pillion as well as the occasional more challenging ride. We welcome new members or why not join us as a visitor to an event.
You do not have to own a BMW motorcycle to join the Club with many members owning more than one BMW along with other makes, model, age and style of motorcycle.
Club General Meetings, Rides and Social event details are on What's On that has the most up to date information. Non-binding registrants will get emails of late changes to events otherwise check here before leaving home.
The Club hosts the annual Kosciuszko Rally on the second weekend in October at Geehi in Kosciuszko National Park. With support from rallyists in 2020 the Club donated $1500 to the Royal Doctor Flying Service.

With current ACT and NSW government lockdowns and travel restrictions in place and likely through to late October 2021, the Club has taken the design to CANCEL our 40th Kosciuszko Rally.
Subject to easing of restrictions and permitted travel the Club is planning on holding a back to basics 40th Anniversary rally over the weekend 3-5 December 2021 at Geehi Flat Campground, Kosciuszko National Park..

NSW Health Department COVID-19 rules will be in place at Geehi. Know what you need to be doing and not wreck rallying for us all.

The ACT is in a lockdown until... Club activities are suspended until the ACT Government has a change of mind.
All Club events are subject to applicable COVID-19 rules for the ACT, NSW or other ride jurisdiction. These include but not limited to mandatory QR Codes, Face masks, social distancing and hand sanitising. Don't start out if you feel unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms or subject to a stay at home direction.
