Join the Club for a ride or make your own way to Yarrangobilly Village Campground and Snowy Valleys Council hosted 'rider reviver' and display.

TS Riders:  meet at the Williamsdale lay-by 0845 for a ride to the Turkish Cafe Cooma (waypoint) 1000 and then the Bakery Adaminaby ~1100 (waypoint) and meet any,

GS riders coming down the Bobeyan Road (lead/contact required).   Email me President@bmwmcc.org.au if you are interested in leading a GS ride with meet & time details as I'll be on my R100RS.

We'll then head on to Yarrangobilly for SVC Rider Reviver.  Return route to be decided on the day.  If needed the Google Map and the weather looks good.

From the SVC:  The Stop and Revive at Yarrangobilly River campsite on the Snowy Mountains Highway with

  • Free Coffee and donuts

  • Free Sausage on bread.
  • Egg and bacon rolls (on sale) from Tumut Lions Club
  • plus information and displays from Transport for NSW, Snowy Hydro 2.0, Motorcycle Council of NSW and NSW Police.

The rational for the location and the date is that it is a site fairly distant from amenities and therefore a convenient rest stop on a day close to the school holidays.

Ideally a road manage representative from NPWS will be attending who can inform riders of what is going on with the Elliot Way and KP5 (the road between Cabramurra/Tooma Dam and Swampy Plains).

There will be an opportunity to discuss the resurrecting of the Snowy Mountains Riders Safety Group that was positively effective in promoting both rider safety and bike tourism in the Snowy Valleys Region.
