Update 25 February 2022

The ride is still on and Canberra departure Williamsdale lay-by 0800.  The weather around Canberra and along the South Coast is forecast rain.  The intention is to meet at Nimmitable and assess the likely or known (where possible) conditions of the road.  The route includes the Wadabilliga River crossing over rocks (baby heads).  If in flood or road considered to wet, then it may be a return to Nimmitable and road or advise those at Cobargo by phone.

Wadabilliga National Park, Visitor Information. https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/visit-a-park/parks/wadbilliga-national-park/visitor-info

Join the Club and BMWTCNSW members on a GS (min 90km dirt) or TS (sealed ex-road works) ride from Nimmitabel to Cobargo Hotel for lunch and meet up with south coast club members.

There are two options:

1.  A GS ride through Wadabilliga National Park from Nimmitable to Cobargo.  Google Map https://goo.gl/maps/RZ4bmHfNUXMX6cDv5.

2.  A TS ride down the Snowy Mountains Highway from Nimmitable to Cobargo.  The Club is looking for a tour leader/cat herder.  Email President@bmwmcc.org.au if you are up to this easy task of counting heads.

Use the registration form to indicate your route preference.

Meet fuelled to go 0800 at the Williamsdale lay-by (old servo) and for the GS riders, but a good idea for all riders, water/snacks, tyre repair and first aid kit for the ride to Nimmitabel to meet the BMWTCNSW & local members for morning tea.

Return will be either Bemboka, Cooma and Snowy Mountains Highway or Batemans Bay and Kings Highway or variation on the day.
