The Club Committee is investigating the feasibility of engaging First Aid for Motorcyclists™ (FAFM™) to run their First Aid for Motorcyclists Crash Management Training for Group Rides, as a private course for 15-25 Club members in the latter part of 2025.

It’s a hands-on, interactive training course, developed specifically for motorcyclists who want to acquire, or refresh, first aid skills in a supportive, group setting. It teaches the vital skills necessary to render immediate roadside first aid at a motorcycle crash scene, as well as how to effectively manage an accident scene until emergency services arrive. Trainers are motorcyclists who are also qualified, experienced first aid instructors.

The course, which is  non-accredited (i.e. there is no formal first aid certification issued to participants that can be used within a workplace environment), is the same course that FAFM™ offers across Australia and which some State Government/Local Council Road Safety Programs subsidise participant costs as part of motorcycle safety initiatives.
